A Blushing and Beautiful Bride

By Lynne - August 8, 2022

Many little girls dream of their wedding day.  What will her dress look like and who would she marry?  So much goes into making it a perfect day.  Most of the time it takes months to plan. Is it even possible to do it in less? One local young lady found out that it is possible. Her wedding was planned in 18 days. This young lady had received arguably the worst news of a person’s life. Allow me to introduce you to Bailey J.  Up until May of 2022 she was a healthy and happy young lady. In late April of this year, she had a couple medical issues. When the Hospital finished all the relevant testing, she and her family were advised that she has advanced Cancer. From personal experience, your mind wonders off to what kind of treatment will be needed to restore health and what and how will we pay for it. This news was devastating for her, her family, her boyfriend and his family as well as all of her many friends. Bailey was admitted to the hospital for a short stay. While in the hospital, her boyfriend Daniel popped the question. She was overwhelmed and happily said YES!!!

Because this type of cancer was so aggressive and so far along, this Wedding had to be planned in a very short period of time. Bailey's sister, Tiffany, jumped into action reaching out on one of the local wedding websites.  Tiffany wanted her sister to experience as many life experiences as it was physically possible for Bailey to do. Tiffany told Bailey's story on this site and was amazed by local responses. Bailey's story was also featured on the Local Fox 31 Channel.  Tiffany was going to make sure this day was full of everything a young woman dreams about. Her goal was to make this the Best Day Ever. Special and Memorable for all who love Bailey and Daniel.

Tie the Knot Bridal Creations was honored to have been a part of this very special Event. Tiffany connected with one of our team members and asked that we handle all the décor details with Daniel's Grandmother, Connie. We connected on a Wednesday. We learned about Bailey and Daniel during that call. These are two incredible people. Connie was so detailed; it was like we had known them for a while.  Connie was so great to work with and so appreciative. By the following Monday, a decision was made about all of the décor items. The Wedding was going to be at the Adams County Fairgrounds. Never having been to this facility, we were excited to see it and plan the layout for this event. I must say, we were impressed with the both the facility and the people working there. Ryan was great!

The theme selected for this Big event was a country/rustic theme. The floral was Yellow Sunflowers along with Dusty Blue and White roses on a wood round.  There were going to be 16 tables each with a White Rustic Lantern and Candles, Dusty Blue Table runner, and matching chair sashes.  Bailey wanted to walk down the center of the room with coordinating Aisle décor. She chose to have an arch in front where she and Daniel would say their vows. This arch was draped in the wedding colors and matching floral that mimicked the color pallet of centerpieces and Aisle Runway. It looked incredibly beautiful.  The cake was a round tiered cake with Matching Sunflowers and Blue and White Faux Floral. All the outer lined tables had matching décor to complete the theme. This wedding took place on June 20th.

Additionally, we wanted to give a shout out to another wedding vendor that donated her time and services. Chloe Sauceda of Beaute by Chloe is a local hair and makeup artist. She made Bailey look absolutely stunning for their Big Day! She does a great job and is very professional. I would highly recommend looking at her portfolio before making any decisions about a hair and makeup vendor.
This event was a very special time for Tie the Knot Bridal Creations. We now feel that we have new friends from our connection to Bailey and Daniel's wedding. It is seldom that you have an opportunity to help someone in this way and we feel blessed to have been a part of it. We at Tie the Knot Bridal Creations wish the happy couple a lifetime of happiness. May your marriage be full of all things good!
Bailey has a gofundme account to offset some of some of her medical expenses and to help give her a lifetime of experiences. If you wish to donate, the link is below.
